Vira Rudenko (Born on September 01, 1958; Rechytsa, Gomel Region, Belarus) – Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Botany Department of National University of Pharmacy, Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 1981 graduated from A. M. Gorky Kharkiv State University (now – V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University), Biology Faculty.
Responsibilities and tasks:
From 1981 to 1997 – Assistant at the Botany Department of Kharkiv Pharmaceutical Institute (now – National University of Pharmacy).
Starting from 1997 – Associate Professor at the Botany Department of National University of Pharmacy.
From 1983 to 2006 – member of the Examination Admission Committee of National University of Pharmacy.
From 1986 to 2002 – the Botany Department’s Secretary.
From 2001 to 2003 – responsible for the discipline “Fundamentals of Plant Biotechnology”.
Starting from 2003 – responsible for the educational process maintenance for the specialty “Pharmacy” and also for the tutorial work at the Botany Department.
Starting from 2012 – responsible for the work of the Department of Botany, as a core.
Perform profession-oriented work among schoolchildren from the towns. Vira Rudenko was teaching the courses and holding workshops for the subjects of “Medical and Pharmaceutical Botany” for students of the specialty “Pharmacy” (intramural and extramural), perform the scientific feral practicum for students of all the University specialties. Consult scientists regarding the anatomical and morphological structure of plants. In recent years being the active mentor for the young lecturers who joined the Botany Department; share experience with colleagues from the other education institutions.
